Congress leaders, political personalities and filmmakers rushed to Rajashekar's residence and expressed solidarity to him. Mohan Babu too called on and stood by him. He condemned the attack on Rajashekar and termed it as ghastly incident. "Neechati Neechamaina act. It’s unpardonable. Rajashekar and Jeevitha are dear to me. Rajashekar never did harm to anyone. It’s democracy and everyone has a right to express his opinions. Violence attacks should be condemned," Mohan Babu said. He refused to talk about Chiranjeevi's political entry.
When asked why anti-Chiranjeevi camp is rushing to Rajashekar's residence, he said he came as a co-artiste and has no hidden interest.
